Hi! I’m Miriam. I’m teaching kindergarten this year. I want to show you my favorite book. It’s called Bread and Jam for Frances. I’ve had this book since I was a little girl, and it’s about a little badger named Frances who learns how nice it is to try all sorts of different foods.

And this year I am excited to meet all different kinds of families here at Northern Lights and bring them into the classroom—them and other community members—to read a story, help out with an activity, share their life experiences and their skill sets. I hope to see you soon.
